Pastor Ron Shaw
Ron Shaw, at the age of 18, accepted God's call to enter into ministry at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, one of Dallas' long-standing African-American churches. During his early years, Ron Shaw attended undergraduate studies at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas, and the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. Later, he expanded his studies at Bishop College to focus primarily on philosophy and religion.
With the ability to communicate life applications through biblical principles using his own brand of creativity, wit, and inspiration, Ron Shaw has spearheaded programs that effectively promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He has incorporated Leadership Development, Personal Gift Discovery and Development, and Ministry of Helps training curriculums that continue to help individuals to discover and answer the call of God on their lives.
"I believe there is no such thing as a person who is not gifted nor is there a person who cannot learn. God just did not make any person without those two ingredients. Most people have not made the discovery of who they are in Christ and what God has designed them to do. Therefore, they spend most of their lives frustrated and unhappy. I believe He has gifted me to help in this area. My goal is to continue to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and contribute to the growth and maturity of all men and to be a promoter of hope and encouragement to all."
Ron Shaw has established two other entities, "The Winner's Edge," a dynamic personal development organization and Ron Shaw & Associates, a personal development firm for Christian organizations. Also, he serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Abundant Life Cathedral of Houston, Texas.
Ron is married to Veda and they have two children, Jason and Angel.
