LightChurch Ministries

 

We believe that one of the best methods of growing in Christ is to become actively involved.  We have several opportunities to participate in ministry activities and outreach programs with our church.  While we welcome membership, it is not a requirement to attend any of these groups.

Children’s Ministry – Kids For Christ

Kids For Christ represents a group of young leaders, teachers, disciples, intercessors, future pastors, elders, deacons, and ministers who are committed to growing in Christ through spiritual discipline.  Our program services ages 4-11 years old. We meet every Wednesday evening, 7:15pm-8:15pm.

 

Teen Boys – Assembly of Young Men

The Purposes of our group are to fellowship with men and teenage men, and to mentor teenage men in Christian discipleship and establishing Godly relationships.  Our group is for boys ages 12-17.

 

Teen Girls – Young Sisters With Vision

Young Sisters With Vision (YSWV) helps young women ages 12 – 17 realize God’s vision and plan for their lives. After accepting the vision, the young ladies are able to move toward that vision, making the accomplishment of the vision their top pursuit.

 

Men – Men In Christ

Men of all ages and backgrounds are a part of Men In – Christ.  Through Men In- Christ, we discover our purpose as men and develop in that purpose and function. Our mission is to establish and develop accountability among one another and be the spiritual leaders that God intended us to be, first at home, then outside.

 

Women – Women Unlimited

We are a service-oriented ministry designed to serve every woman both in our church, and our community. We offer encouragement, hope, and inspiration to women and help them develop Godly relationships. This is achieved through fellowship and community service opportunities.

 

Music & Worship

Our Music & Worship Department is well-known for its energetic and joyous Light Company Choir and Band. While we pursue musical excellence, we desire nothing more than to glorify God for Who He Is and to express our love to Him.

 

Dance Ministry

The purpose of Expressions of Light is to promote creative expression through the art of expressive dance, and to provide an alternative language for the worship of our Lord Jesus Christ. We engage in deep, humble worship and passionate praise.

We are a ministry devoted to praising God with High Energy! We purpose to honor God by carrying out His divine plan, through the use of our limbs.
